There’s a public slip at Abingdon Marina, and another next to Windsor leisure centre.
fantastic project, pretty sure I was watching a clip of it swimming the other night
Can’t say I noticed, I saw two relief lockies and a guy I hadn’t seen before who hadn’t had time to change out of his motorcycle gear. They seemed to be doing a good job of clearing boats when we came through about midday
I would be probably start looking at Carbon Fibre filled Nylon using Selective Laser Sintering. It’s not cheap, but for the numbers you’re looking at it will be cheaper than injection moulding.
Try looking for a company called Graphite in Aylesbury, if we can’t do it in-house, they’re one of our...
We had a great meal at the Beetle and Wedge tonight, reasonably priced for excellent food.
We booked an overnight mooring, and whilst I was a little perturbed to find the mooring was a 20’ plastic pontoon on the other side of the river, they pickedus up in an electric launch and took us back to...
I can’t see how you select your desired mooring area, but more worryingly, having paid upfront, how do you know there will be a suitable mooring available as there are no boat specific questions
Glass filled Nylon is more for Selective Laser Sintering rather than a filament based printer, it’s pretty good, but the glass can act as a defect if you’re not paying attention.
Carbon Fibre filled would probably be the way to go. If you orientate the part so the fibre lays in the direction...
Take care, using hand held tools on a machine not designed for them can be an accident waiting to happen.
I once saw a colleague with a needle file through his hand
All of them would need to have folding screens though.
So, the 30 would be a good bet, not many 32’s around without the standard hardtop, and even less 33’s that will make that trip (only 3 that I know of)
Nope, today the base of the tree was in flames and a boat was on the river directing boats towards the Beatle and wedge bsnk. They clearly couldn’t be sure which way it would fall
I was quite sad to see the new owner of Ashmount setting a fire around the base of the large tree next to the flagpole. We’ve sheltered from wind, rain and sun under that tree on many an occasion whilst sharing a beer and one on Byrons stories
Sad day :(
