Yeh I know what you mean, It cost us £688 from Nidri to Manchester, 1st week in Feb. we got good deals on the ferries so can't complain.
Also we travel in a 7.5 metre campervan :-) very comfortable and we can make a holiday out of it at "no extra cost". Only civilized way to travel IMHO.

Go into Mandraki, the marina under the castle, just around from NAOK.
was about 22euros, lazy lines, nice people..
If we were further south we used to anchor of Petriti, very good holding.
or go over to Platerias on mainland.
