    How much of a difference does a topping lift make?

    If you're not racing, don't worry about it. The topping lift can make some difference but most people can get away without it. Adjustment of the topping lift or angle of the boom can change the shape of the sail to something slightly more efficient for the conditions.

    Me! Regret it kinda...(maybe not but the APR leaves a bad taste). Unfortunately the stars didn't align nicely... the boat did... but while I would have otherwise had the finance available I had a gap in cashflow at the time (due primarily to banks clamming up on Covid...).
