Pretty sure it was a Sterling Pro Charge Ultra 12v 60amp unit - been fine for the last 6 years, although if I did it again (with hindsight !) I'd probably look at a Victron unit as an alternative as we've subsequently been adding other electrical components (new generator and some solar...
We had exactly the same error code on our Quick charger (same boat as you if you remember, but not HT). We binned the charger and fitted a Sterling one and all was well. It does sound like your batteries may have died also as ours still had life in them and we were able to use 12v. Hope it's...

We've got a RUT955 (actually got 2 - one on boat and one as a spare 3G/4G failover in our business) - the boat one has been running pretty much continuously for about 18months now. Haven't upgraded the firmware for a good while, but sounds like that might have helped the situation !
I'd...
The other thing that the Garmin Fenix 5 and above is good for is that you can pay (contactless) for stuff with just the watch - means you don't have to carry cash, cards or phone while at beach or out cycling - just hold watch near scanner - done. I agree with the above - the Garmin Fenix...
Sorry Vas - forgot to put the link in for the device I was referring too - doh !
Teltonika RUT955
It has LTE, Wifi, Router, GPS, etc. Been really impressed with it. It's even able to be setup to run on mains power when connected and failover to 12v vie POE when off mains shore power. Has GPS...
I've started using one of these this year (replacing a MiFi box) - fantastic piece of kit - mains and 12v supply - 2 sim slots - GPS antenna, etc. And not stupid money to buy.
We had one for about 4 years (a good while ago now). Used it extensively in the west country from Exmouth to Falmouth. Was a good boat - well put together, but heavy rear end with a diesel KAD300 sat in it. Eventually the family outgrew it and we moved up in size. We found the sea keeping to...
we travel Exeter to brixham most weekends by car (boat in marina). We do it in 38 minutes, pretty much year round. Only rarely held up in traffic. 15K is a lot of fuel for car journeys. I'd go for the dry (car) option ?

We have that very charger and do regularly see it running 900w from the generator. This does drop back to around 600w, but I would certainly see the need for generator that will permit 900w - we have a built in 3.5kva diesel generator with a control panel that shows watts used . Hope this helps.
I have H2O davits on our swim platform. Tender is a Honwave 2.7 airdeck with a 6hp 4stroke on the back. Setup works really well, but if you struggle to use your current setup I would imagine you'll find dragging an ali rib up a struggle. I like having the tender setup and ready to go with the...
Shane - good luck with that one ! As you know I've had my 37 a little bit longer than you and had been instructed by the boss to find suitable combi microwave oven to fit the space. With us being in the kitchen design and installation industry I initially thought it would be an easy win. 5...
Unscrew 3 screws near cockpit table leg that hold the head of the ram to the deck hatch. Then manually lift the access hatch - watch out it's bloody heavy - wedge something under the edges as you go to prevent a trap hazard (like a fender). Once enough gap prop the hatch up and get in the...
