Blowing like hell outside at the moment - and we are sheltered from everything except N!! Does not bode well.
Tosca III Autumn cruise next week and for the last couple of years the weather has been kind. Not so this year by the looks of it.
W&FYC this Saturday evening if anyone is in that...

At least the speed cameras seem to have disappeared from the A12, well I didn't see any...

Only ones left on that stretch are the three average speed ones London bound between Feering and Kelvedon. They look like pretty permanent structures to me.
Glad to hear good...
Have not seen PBO, so hope I'm not repeating anything therein. Forumites may be interested in these snippets I picked up from a recent Sea Survival course and a talk by a USCG Lieutenant based at Culdrose (Royal Navy Search & Rescue).
I tried all manner of lifejackets (in a pool!) and...
Many thanks for these responses.
Mike, the landfill site is on Barling Ness, although I haven't been in the Roach since 2006, so it may be finished (full!!) by now. What is the Plough and Sail like these days?

Tosca III (my East coast home!!) stayed afloat last winter and will probably do the same again.
Re: So, what\'s the consensus on S Coast weather this weekend?
Also struggling to believe it will be light airs on Monday. It's a bank holiday after all and that low over Iceland looks pretty deep.
Speaking of pretty, how on earth did you manage to concentrate on the forecast when it is...
On a Bank Holiday weekend? Shurely shome mishtake.
I will take observations from Pin Mill, or maybe Ramsholt, or maybe Orford. And then Pin Mill again just to be certain.
