Put a Ty-wrap around the impeller and pull tight to pull in the vanes. This will let you get it started. Tap in until over half in, cut and remove the Ty-wrap then tap home. Use lubricant if you want.
I replaced my impellers on TAMD41B’s a year ago. When I restarted a couple of weeks ago after a 4 month lift out a blade broke off the port impeller. Fortunately the EGT sensor I fitted went off. The bit is probably in the oil cooler so hopefully I can fish it out through the anode hole.

Exhaust pipes were not very easy to remove or refit. I put an extra jubilee clip on for security in case my exhaust pipe fitting was not up to scratch.
Have not had any problems.
I have just spent two hours trying to get a nut off the prop shaft. I got the SS split pin out eventually but unfortunately a bit was left behind. This meant the nut could not be removed and eventually had to be cut off by hacksaw. My conclusion was always renew the split pins, too much bending...
Our boat had a slight list to one side so I got my brother to stand on higher side and he balanced it. Thus, as he weighed 80Kg I could remove 40 Kg from starboard and add 40Kg to port which, fortunately, meant I could swap the calorifier tank over. It worked a treat.

Broom 33 with 200hp engines gets on plane around 15 knots. The article claiming a top speed above 20 knots is incorrect. The best I ever got was 18 knots flat out probably with all tanks almost empty and generally lightly laden. Some pics and dimensions on the links below.
