RCD's basically work on a current imbalance between live and neutral so reverse polarity will make no difference, they also switched on both live and neutral, so if they trip, cct is dead. They were not generally designed as overload protect, but fast acting trip in the event off a connection to...
I know how AC works,it's also not + / - 230 as 230V measured is the RMS value.
As for RCD's they will work fine, fuses and cct breakers are useless with reversed polarity
Stop trying to be clever
It's not working
DC has a + / -,, reverse DC and you get a -ve voltage and you might find the magic smoke escaping, you don't get that with AC , it's live and neutral
RCD's should still work ok , possibly be a bit sensitive, it's circuit breakers and fuses that might not work or be slow to respond
Think your...
It's 230V AC there is no + or -
All breakers and switches in UK are connected to the live, so if reversed the circuit or appliance connected would still be live even when switched off.

If single props on outdrives, then it's possible to maneuver using drives only, if duoprops you will need to use a lot off power if using drives only, as there is very little prop kick.
Best is steer first then use only outside engine engage gear, take it slow. use minimum power .Would not...

Your views and comments are clearly those of Motor boat users. I say users and not Skippers because I've yet to come across a motor boater that knows what he/she is doing and how their actions affect other water users.

Actually found that info when looking up GW, it's just conveniently forgotten by the zealots and politicians.
Stop the destruction, immediate 20% drop in CO2 production, but too convenient for some, makes climbing on their hobby horses more difficult
Hadn't heard from you for a while on this...
IPCC :- intergovernmental panel on climate change
The IPCC assesses the scientific, technical and socio-economic information relevant for the understanding of the risk of human-induced climate change.
ie it's a political organisation and the information they produce is their assessment ...
Seems that anyone who disagrees with the zealots about MMGW is sticking their head in the sand, in denial, doing nothing, etc
Since when has belief in the MMGW hype been a requisite for supporting a less wasteful, more enviromentally friendly lifestyle
