Demand for marina and mooring berths soars in UK

You do not need to sell your boat to me . I have a really good boat which I use . All the people who are angry about my post must be the ones who do not use their boats. My friends are real sailors. Real sailors will not get upset with my post.

Are lazy jack sail covers not waterproof

Thank you for the useful answers. Angus, yours was the best. No need to buy a new sail cover. I do normally sail 2 or 3 days per month in winter but this year has been the worst winter I have ever encountered. Lesson learned I must hoist the main once a month if possible to dry and air it.

Weed, plastic bags etc being sucked onto the engine water skin fitting

A few years ago I was leaving Dartmouth when the engine overheating siren and light came on. The lifeboat towed me in. the next day the engineer could not find anything wrong with the engine and said it was probably something blocking the engine water skin fitting which had then floated off...

PYH KICKING OUT 50% OF THEIR LIVABOARDS

How do you get around the law that says you can only stay for 90 days and not return for 180 days. Would love to live in France. I would be grateful for any advice on this.

PYH KICKING OUT 50% OF THEIR LIVABOARDS

Plymouth Yacht Haven are getting rid of 50% of their livaboards. I managed to keep my berth for now. Is this happening at other marinas. How hard is it now to get a berth in uk as a livaboard. This is very worrying. Can not live in the EU now. Can not afford housing in UK.
