Hi everyone - I just got an email from the RNLI explaining that the quoted cost of rescues is incorrect. I have been told that it's a fabricated sum that people keep quoting. I think you're absolutely right - when I spoke to the RYA yesterday I was very much under the impression that they were cracking on with lobbying the government but hadn't shouted about it to the media
