Re: This is an easy one: Been there, done that thing.... Ah - very sensible and no need for v. expensive bits of marine kit! Have you done it before? What material was your cover made from? Just still concerned that my 2 grands worth of cover may melt!

I don't know much about the rutland, but if it hasn't got an auto cut out when the voltage gets too high then I would lash it to prevent the internal componenets burning out!

Hey you guys. Hope you are all keeping warm! I need to put my cover on my boat as she is still leaking no matter what i do!! - but that means I can't use my diesel stove and it's just too cold! Anyone know of a material that I could use to line the hole in the cover where the chimney will go...

Hi all, I have a diesel stove with an external chimney and a lovely winter cover. Problem is..... I need to extend the chimney through the cover to use it with the cover on. Anyone got any ideas where I could find a suitible material to put around the hole to stop the cover melting! Thanks GG
