I've just purchased a British registered (SSR) yacht in Grenada which will be my home for about six months out of each year for the next few years. Daily VHF use as a community net is the common practice, so I wonder as she's a British ship but out of UK territorial waters would UK/Ofcom Radio...
I agree - very much like a Fantasie. I think she is one of those where the moulds changed hands a few times towards the end of their life. TBH I don't really care - she's got nice lines and I got her for a quid!
I'm not, hence this thread! I do know she is around 18ft/19ft (measured by me) do know she had bilge keels (seen them). Took me about two mins on line to work out if wasn't designed by Uffa Fox or Robert Tucker
OK Update: Not a Sharky (found some pics online,) not the 13ft Voyager mentioned, not a SeaSafe Dandy, nor a Mirror Offshore, so please keep ideas coming!
Recent eBay acquisition. The seller called it a "Voyager 19", and said that it's an Uffa Fox design (it isn't) and that his dad bought her new in the 80s from a boat-builder in Wolverhampton.
Thought at first it might be a post-Hurley version of a GRP Silhouette, but the info on the SOIA...
