    Hand Arm vibration Syndrome (HAVS)

Thanks I’ve just reviewed some other things and petrol lawn mowers are high on the list and so too are strimmers and other garden equipment. The impact screwdriver is an 8 minutes affair! The dual action polisher rattled me to the core but got a great finish. I have not got the m/s rating for...

    Hand Arm vibration Syndrome (HAVS)

Anyone come across this problem with using equipment that will cause nerve damage? Boat polishers only can be used for 20 minutes a day for example (Silverline Orbital polisher)

    I was told off today

Yard work is for the yard. The marina is for showing off your boat. I’ll never forget the deckhand who grinded a steel fitting without protecting the work area only to see what mess he had made half way across the Atlantic when the foredeck awlgrip painted super structure began to bleed rust...

So which yacht owner did it? Bridge, bags full of water ?

This video has bounced around for at least a decade - I'm sure I saw this back in 2008 and every couple of years since. Can anyone identify who did it or perhaps better who plans to do this soon themselves and why it is not in the RYA YachtMaster syllabus? Also is this a regular thing to see...
