    Heatin install in sealine s23

I do have a 240 fan heater that does a good job when we have shore power, but the noise and the positioning of it with limited sockets does become annoying. I would like something that doesn't rely on shore power or the engine running.

    Thinking of wind ?

WOW ! Never seen anything like it. Creaking! i'm surprised it hasn't snapped in half with all that junk on it. I couldn't even step onto a boat in that state. Plenty of room though and it looks like a smooth if noisy ride.

Minimum winterisation to allow use over winter

Much the same from me. I empty all my domestic water though and I do close the sea cocks (I very rarely use the river or sea water for flushing the toilet any way). I leave the taps open. Tube heater in the engine bay set to cut in at 6 degrees. I do keep it cosy in there by blocking of the...

Diesel for me. The boat will cost you more but the re-sale value will be much better and the boat will be easier to sell. Cheaper to run, safer and much more readily available. Service costs I believe will be a higher but I don't know by how much £ exactly. I know its a bit more complex with...

    Sports cruiser buying advice.

I have a Sealine S23 with a KAD32 . The last time I had it at any sort of speed was 2019 and it was doing 30knots. I don't see why it shouldn't do the same now with a decent clean and a service. Despite what 'alt' said earlier about avoiding them at all costs, I find it quite a capable little...

I haven't tried a cover maker yet. I guess that's the next step. There is one that advertises at my local marina.

    Sealine s23

Evening all, I have a couple of 'lift the dot' studs missing from my windscreen track where it fixes my canopy to the screen on my Sealine s23. The studs are 24.3 mm long of which 10mm is a M4 thread. Does anybody know where I might get some from ? I have tried seabridge and britboats, both no...

    S23 WATER PUMP

Good afternoon all. Long time since I've been on the forum. I hope everybody is well. I have a Sealine S23. When working properly the water pump pulses and water flows from the tap at a steady stream. Lately it seems to be pumping out lots of air and spluttering and when I turn the tap I can...
