Great pics ... I'm out there on the 18th for a week with Neilson Holidays. Sailing out of Dubrovnic. Do you have any recommendations, place to visit, bars, restuarants, good anchorages etc. Any tips would be useful

Re: Yachmaster Prep in the Solent - Recommendations? I did mine with Hamble Sailing School about 3 years ago. Good instructor, good quality yacht (Dufour 36 Classic), too much food and the preparation was pretty much spot on. You'll also get a good deal if you book at SIBS in a week or so time

Re: Photographic attempt in Solent today -Nab Tower leaning? I saw the Red Arros too but what was the event ? Was ther some sort of air race or pageant as there were lots of planes (vintage) flying round the Solent on Saturday.

A guy at our dinghy club has H20 YOT. I think that's quite clever..

There's a hotel by Southampton Airport, I think its a Premier Lodge. The advantage is that its a 7 minute train ride to Southampton Central and SIBS is walkable from there.

Did mine with Hamble Sailing School. Very good prep, nice boat (Dufour 36) and they got me through ! So happy to recommend them
