I should add that while he sank an Albin Vega in the Suez Canal, he did do a trip from England to India using the French Canals to the Med and then the Suez Canal to the Indian Ocean.
I don't know if there are any canals from Arabia or Europe that get to India. The Hindu Kush is a little...
There is a book by a Punjabi who was the first Indian to sail around the world, albeit in several different boats. One of his names was Khan and he was a customs officer in India. I suggest you get hold of that book. I can't remember the title or his full name as I gave teh book to me Seik dentist.
I am watching a kite in the shape of a hawk about to lift its prey from the ground swooping and diving over a fish restaurant at Swaneke on the East Coast of Bornholm, The first time I glimpsed it I actually thought it was a real hawk momentarily,
The Seagulls on the roof of the fish restaurant...
I looked at these and they are from 2010 to America as far as I can work out. Unfortunately none of the videos as far as I can work out feature boats that finished. It's a pity we can't see footage from boats that were successful. Maybe the key to success is not to carry a video camera.
I have found this Parker 30 however.

So your original statement that we had obligations to carry certain equipment under SOLAS regulations was intended to mislead? Or at least those of us interested in sailing small boats across big oceans.
How waterproof are they? I replaced my aneroid barometer with an electronic barometer [not one of the brands you mention] and it only lasted a year on the boat until the salt water found its way in. I've gone back to an aneroid barometer. Although I do miss the 24 hour pressure record.
It costs Euros99 a year to run on top of the purchase price.
They are great but for sailing you do not get world coverage. I crossed the Pacific using one to report my position and disappeared off everybodies emails for two months despite sending a daily message [I kept sending because I...
Does anyone know of a Fibreglass long keel boat with a keel stepped mast under 30 feet?.
I've had trouble with my deck stepped mast with cracking in the deck and thought a keel stepped mast might be more suited to Jester events.
If no long keels exist with keel stepped mast are there any...
Everyday over the last few weeks I have been thinking that this time next year I will be somewhere between Plymouth and Newport and try to plan my menu. I am obsessed with food.
Unfortunately I'm having trouble trying to bring some variety into my diet and it is distressing me. So far I seem...
