+1 for Thornham Marina, I'm there at the moment very friendly staff and a lovely spot in Chi harbour. They installed new pontoons earlier this year with power, water and light.

Quote from another news source although it's probably as unreliable as the daily mail
“But she failed to make contact with a relative, believed to be her husband, yesterday afternoon as expected and is now not answering her mobile, Falmouth Coastguard said.”
Lets just hope she is found safe...
We keep Flapjack on a swinging mooring in Emsworth channel all year without any problems, one of the nice things about being in Chi harbour is that when it’s to bloody horrible in the Solent you can still sail in the harbour without too much trouble :)
Phill we did our first channel crossing on the 2010 Scuttlebutt and it was the best decision we could have made, go for it you'll have a great time just aim to arrive in the middle of the TSS at slack water to meet the least traffic :)
Glad they have offered you a good discount on a new dinghy but I’m still a little worried that they seem to think that 5 years is an acceptable lifespan for a dinghy, especially as I have one which is now 4 years old :(
Ron Hale in Portsmouth is normally good on price and carries a good range of motors, got my little 3.5 from him and very pleased with the service

That's not good, I will have to keep an eye on mine as this is year 4 for us now, I do hope they sort it for you bit worrying that people think it’s a common problem, please let us know what they say
