Yes, that's what happened. The casualty was landed at Empress dock by boat. The helicopter subsequently landed there and departed some 30 mins or so later. No idea if the casualty was on board. We heard the Hamble lifeboat make three unanswered calls to Solent CG during the shout.

Old type (black plastic) wheel drive available. Replaced because the clutch kept dropping out. Drive motor is sound. May be useful for spares to someone. Control head is not available.

Where would a fuel cell be the optimum solution and where would alternatives such as solar, wind or a generator be more suited?

How readily available is Methanol, in the UK and overseas? Does the fuel cell automatically shut down when the battery bank is fully charged?
