Yup. It's the go to product. Brush on avoiding plastic windows. I used it on a sun parched canvass top and it restored it to it's original stiffness and waterproof properties. With all preceding positives you now have your answer. Fabsil Gold:encouragement:
You might want to consider travelling the other way. From Kris Cruisers upstream and back. It would at least add Windsor, and Cliveden Reach to your experience.
Sadly as far as I am aware there are no other hire boat bases any further downstream from Datchet with Thames Ditton Cruisers no longer...
Shame. My youngest used to work the Shepperton Ferry as a youngster many moons ago and it's a vital link for many walkers and cyclists using the Thames footpath. Hope they can reach a solution.

Just seen an over enthusiastic CRT Chief Exec on the news extolling their recent research that being 'by the water' improves peoples well being. I note he did not say in the water as he stood beside the open sewer otherwise known as Little Venice!
Used them for years and nothing has changed fortunately. I still bring my props up to them even though I have moved away. A more unlikely place for a Marine Engineering emporium would be hard to imagine but they are first class at what they do and that's the sort of confidence one needs now one...
I regularly visit Ho Chi Min City where my son has his business. If Kingston upon Thames wants to twin with Ho Chi Min City upon Mekong I am willing to help:D
As an aside for info the Broom 30 Wisecrack in one of your photos once belonged to Ernie Wise. We had drinks on board with him as a fellow 30 owner when we moored up behind him at Pangbourne many moons ago. A lovely memorable evening.
