Absolutely. Those tubes are completely bespoke to WB - so once they are gone, they are gone.

    Walker Bay Discontinued

I received a randam message from Walker Bay Inc as I must have been on their mailing list: "This serves as a notification that Walker Bay Boats, LLC is discontinuing the production of the following products effective immediately: Genesis, Superlights, Walker Bay 8, Walker Bay 10, and...

    Hard stable tenders

Looking for a tender to stay in a rack all year round. I like the stability of the Bic 245 - but very wet boat by all accounts. Any alternative that are as good value and stable as the Bic 245, but less wet! (more freeboard).

    Avon Redcrest Floor

HI, I don't suppose you could give me the dimensions of your boards ?They look perfect!

    Avon Redcrest Floor

Many thanks - that's great. My 840mm was your 865mm - I was allowing for some slack - but maybe I will go 865mm across as easier to trim down that size up! My 1400mm was to cover as much of the length of the dinghy as I might want boarded (i.e not to include bow section. Hope that make sense...

    Avon Redcrest Floor

Thanks refueller - did you see my query on your dimensions? Were they for one board rather than the approx width and length for a piece of plywood to shape and make up for the floor? I was a bit confused!

    Avon Redcrest Floor

Sadly in Devon - but thanks anyway. (but would be interested in buying and paying carriage if you were willing to send them?)

    Avon Redcrest Floor

Hi, a bit baffled by those dimensions - I make it about 840mm from seam to seam on the floor? and length to be about 1400mm if you don't bother covering the bow bit at the front? 9mm sounds better than 12mm? Thanks

    Avon Redcrest Floor

Many thanks ! That's helpful. You didn't mention the spring and washer - presumably you pull the mushroom stalk through those too

Thanks - what is "FE" ply?

Any view on my measurements of length and width?

    Avon Redcrest Floor

True - I think as I will not be storing the dinghy outside, marine ply is OTT and I can go for a cheaper spec and make sure it is painted and dries out after use

    Avon Redcrest Floor

Just looking to make one up - I just want to double check the size of ply that will do the job. Was thinking of buying a piece 84cm wide, by 140cm long. 12mm thick? Just wondering whether any redcrest owners could confirm that's about the right piece of wood (would then need to cut into two...

    Yamaha 275S Inflatable Aluminium Floor

Heard that Wavelines are ok - apparently most inflatables are made in the same factory in China whatever the brand! Storing a dinghy in a rack for most the year puts me off any wood! Under that thin chinese grey paint probably lurks a very cheap sourced plywood. Basically the Yam 275S looks a...

    Yamaha 275S Inflatable Aluminium Floor

Update! I bought the YAM 275S. What a mistake! The Yamaha Website advertises this as having an "aluminium floor". This is absolutely not the case - the boat has painted plywood boards with aluminium joiners. That is not an "aluminium floor". So beware. I am returning mine as the boards are v...
