Oh dear, what a mess. I'll let the experts comment on liability. As for carrying an EPRIB on a plane. I have done this many times. I carry a rucsack with the EPIRB, autohelm, handheld VHF, navtex screen and loads of cables and other stuff (and yes it does meet hand luggage spec's). It almost...

My insurance requires my boat to be out of the water from October to March. I was planning to leave the boat in the water for the following 12 months and of course tell the insurance as I now renew the policy. Does anyone have a best guess as to what this will do to my premium (in rough...

I Have a F32 with a Yanmar 3GM. Had new prop and shaft fitted about 650 nm.
Boat has been on her berth since last August. Last week I was getting her ready for the season. Started engine and engaged forward, slipped lines but made very little progess. In fact made about three boat lengths and...
You could consider dry sailing the boat. Have her lifted out at the corfu boat yard. Might prove cheaper and he will do a deal for cash. Quoted prices were very close to Cleopatras without the glitz (not that cleo had any)
Just a few points to consider :
I would not stay on board overnight...
