    Life after selling the boat.

Personally, Falmouth 2014 it all changed. Insanity set in as a result of poor management. (Putting it politely) A large proportion of the boat owners either moved or like me gave up. Bad times. I have watched other places like little private sailing clubs thrive and look like heavens from it...

    Life after selling the boat.

Honestly, your 4k down is the way things are. It's worse nere in Cornwall I think, by just looking at boats on Marketplace. By comparison with 1070s if you had a 27 ft or 32ish boat like a westerly or fiberglass similar you were either, doctor, solicitor, accountant,or company director...

    Life after selling the boat.

That sounds like the best reason I've heard for packing it all up..I find it's not the money, problem. its the freedom that it brings. Example.. 5.00 on a January evening phone call. "Your foots come of your boat (17 ton) leg and it's at a funny angle". That means next tide at 5.30 AM.at...

    A money saving tip.

I love your use of bean tins. 👍 Don't forget old domestic appliances have SS side casings. Very thin guage and workable. A swaged seam is easy to do and you get the right Diameter. !

    Life after selling the boat.

I have just (metaphorically speaking) been let out of PRISON. Yes, and feel wonderful, I have just sold my two boats and am experiencing a new sort of freedom for the first time in 64 years, although I did take a brake for 8 years while I built a 17 ton Cutter. I built my first boat when I was...

    Kawasaki Outboard Motor.

Has anyone ever seen one of these ? possibly made from an aftermarket kit for a strimmer. Bought locally on eBay, runs great with 7 1/2" cut off that shaft to make it more like an outboard.. Chris.

    Mast lights Question?

Regulations can change, and do over time, and it is publications like Merchant Shipping Notices that keep people informed. One other point I think should be addressed to Pete is that he may have lost sight of the purpose of a forum. That is Positive mutual help.

    Mast lights Question?

Rafiki,,For boats over 12m (not me)That difference in height between the stern and the steaming light is the other way round ( stern light lower) I do not know why because viewed from the stern you can only see one W light, the height is immaterial. I have double checked and my conclusion that...
