[edit] link takes you straight there.
You should give OpenCPN another go though - it's the dog's gonads.
Dear Mr Paul Gibson,
Please go to: My Documents\My Pictures\Sailing 2011\Sweden 2011 - that's where you'll find the photo you're looking for. Please upload it so we can all have a look.
Thanks in Advance,
Everyone in this thread
Quite correct - one digit short. The other incident number given by Sandyman looked like a UK (44) landline number, but again with one digit missing. I queried this with Sandyman in the original thread but he didn't respond, just as he hasn't responded to my post above.
Sandyman, I can verify the above. I quoted both of your posts in which you gave two entirely different incident numbers - way before the thread was pulled. You did not respond.
Another forumite said he had called the relevant police force and they did not recognise the incident number(s) you...
As the main 'who nicked Sandyman's battery' thread has now been pulled (boo hoo) we need to continue the debate somewhere else...
I reckon Lakesailor nicked it and it's now powering one of those wind turbine things in the lake district. Those turbine blades don't spin round on their own you...
I think that's spot on - the mast has to point directly into the wind or downwind, whereas the boat may not be doing that due to tides. Any solution has to deal with that issue.
It may be worth asking the same question on multihulls4us ?
