Do I need new leisure batteries? (Victron setup)

hmmm don't have one of those. The MPPT talks to Smart Shunt for voltage though. Is it worth getting the Smart Sense just for temperature?

Do I need new leisure batteries? (Victron setup)

Ah sorry, thought that question was for me!

Do I need new leisure batteries? (Victron setup)

Just the one 160w renogy mono panel. I did have a 100w flexible too but don't leave it on in winter as it's prone to blowing off...

Do I need new leisure batteries? (Victron setup)

Thanks everyone. Couple more screenshots showing recent solar input (pretty rubbish in winter) Also full csv attached. Need to check electrolyte levels tomorrow as I think they're low maintenance rather than no maintenence... I never really disconnect anything so I think the sync setting...

Do I need new leisure batteries? (Victron setup)

hi everyone. I'm getting some odd readings from my leisure batteries. They're just under 3 years old. 3 x 115AH Exide lead acid... I'm not experiencing any issues with power. I use the fridge, tv, laptop and heater regularly. However, the voltage seems really low despite the monitor...

Calorifier connections - Adding Bobil heat exchanger

Thanks. Interesting. I was also concerned about small pipes. Have added quite a bit of 15mm push fit to my design but there's still this bit with the one way valves. Might swap for bigger then...

Calorifier connections - Adding Bobil heat exchanger

that's the one. I still haven't got it plumbed in yet but getting there. Have you made yours more permanent yet? Any more feedback on how effective it's been? Also working on my air duct flap automation project (didn't want to rely on a manual switchover) - but that's another story...

Calorifier connections - Adding Bobil heat exchanger

yeah, it weeped a bit and I gave it a few twiddles and it stopped. I also added a mini Jabsco accumulator shortly after so that might have helped too...

Honwave Inflatable Disintegrates - Shame on you HONDA!

The dealer you purchased it from might have an interest in getting a response from Honwave too? I'm following with interest too as I have a 3 year old T30...

Heater flap control - Linear actuator / servo / stepper motor?

that's perfect! I could only find servo tester type boards with a control knob for position... Thanks

Heater flap control - Linear actuator / servo / stepper motor?

ah yes - that's another good avenue to explore. Heater flaps and wipers... might have a go at hacking the RC servo too. Too many options!

Heater flap control - Linear actuator / servo / stepper motor?

Yeah was thinking that but you need a PWM signal to trigger them so gets a bit complicated again... this is what I'd really like but pricey! Amazon.co.uk

Heater flap control - Linear actuator / servo / stepper motor?

I'd like to control an air duct flap on my heater remotely somehow (as part of a Bobil hot water heat exchanger project). The manual bowden cable isn't long enough to reach anywhere accessible and I'd like to automatically shut the flap when the water is up to temp. I first tested some car...

Calorifier connections - Adding Bobil heat exchanger

Ah-ha! makes sense! Haven't had a chance to check where the pipes run... Always tricky doing these projects when you're not there often... The PRV weeped a bit before and it came out of the red cap so I assumed that's where it dumped the water...

Calorifier connections - Adding Bobil heat exchanger

I'm in the process of plumbing in a Bobil heat exchanger to my existing calorifier (Bavaria 30 Cruiser) but a bit puzzled by the existing cold water connections. There are two cold water connections at the bottom of the calorifier with the PRV. I need to tee into this to add the heat...
