Using Navionics Autorouting Over Drying Areas?

Perhaps it's not possible with a single route, but I'm trying to autoroute across Ray/Buxey Sand from Crouch to Blackwater and can't seem to force it to do it. Am I missing something or do I need to set up two separate routes (if I wish to use the autoroute function)? See attached. Thank you :)

    Digital Radio Advice

This is totally not boat related so please forgive me. But. My near 99 year old Grandad is stuck in a hospice on his last legs but hanging in there. His hearing is going and he can't read. I think a decent radio with a pair of over ear headphones might make his life hugely more bearable as he'll...

    Autonomous Unmanned Research Vessel?

I have a client who wants to create an autonomous unmanned vessel approx 8m long which they hope will 'roam' the oceans recording research data. It will have sat coms so can be controlled remotely, but not _all_ of the time. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find out about...

Blackwater Sheltered Anchorage Friday (Wind 35kt SW)

Have a bit of a trip planned but concerned about the strong winds. Was aiming to leave the Crouch tomorrow and sail to the Blackwater where I've never been before and find a nice anchorage for a couple of nights but the f'cast is now for force 7's and I don't want to have a poor night's sleep on...

Recommend a decent, available surveyor in Hartlepool area?

Could do with having a survey done fairly rapidly on a small yacht (30 foot cruiser) I'm interested in buying as it seems no insurer will insure it without one. It's in Hartlepool. Any recommendations please? Thank you!!

    O'Day 302 As A UK Liveaboard?

Having recently split up with my (now ex) wife, I find myself without a place to live. I would love to return to life afloat and have found a nice example of an O'Day 302 for sale nearby which looks about perfect for me. I'm going to view it on Sunday. What should I be checking for? And do you...

    Lino Cabin Sole?

Thinking of trying lino for the cabin sole. There's some _ok_ looking wood effect stuff that colour matches nicely. But I'm concerned it might be slippery when wet? And what's a good glue to use onto the glossy gelcoat down at the moment? Something that holds lino well, but which will allow me...

    Replacing deck-flush water cap?

The old hose fit perfectly over the 41mm tail (re-measured and it's 1.6", 41mm). It's in an awkward spot so I think it'd be a mighty hard task to heat and squeeze it down to 38mm. Ahh - I could build up the 38mm with some amalgamating tape or PTFE I suppose. Or something better?

    Replacing deck-flush water cap?

Our water inlet was leaking - badly sealed - and we don't have the tool to open it anyway - and it's old - so I want to replace it. I can't seem to find a replacement that matches its dimensions. The hose it was connected to would be ideally re-used as it'd be very awkward to replace it - and...

Is Sikaflex Still The Sealant Of Choice?

Great suggestions and thoughts, really helpful, thank you. In answer to the question above about CT1. Yes, it was the clear stuff! Perhaps that's been my issue. TY!

Thanks everyone. We bought a Leisure 23. No inboard sadly but I'm sure we'll still have fun with it :)
