The oil filler cap looks to be BMC, lots of those on old Austin’s. The gearbox is a TMP box, the same type as mine, but they did fit those to lots of different engines.

Some idiot, ie me(!), managed to leave rusty anchor chain on the sails. I’ve tried washing them in a strong solution of washing powder, but have not had much success.

I have been using 4.5Kg Propane Calor gas bottles, but I have now discovered that I can fit 7Kg bottles in my gas locker. Assuming that I go down this route the fittings on the 7Kg appears to be different to the 4.5K am I right in this thinking and is there anything else that I will need?
Our cabin is lined with teak faced ply which previously I have treated with teak oil when it has looked a little dry and tired. I have been advised that this is not a good idea as the oil might affect the glue in the ply. Has anyone a better idea of what to use, or have I been misled?

We have the same system but with rod steering which has two points of adjustment. One is a bottle screw which adjusts both the rudder and consequently the Cetrek unit. Alternatively it is possible to adjust just the Cetrek unit by screwing in/out the treaded rod.
