    Fairline Targa 34

I agree with BruceK - go for it! But, I think your costings are a little low. I have a T34 and absolutely love it - to me, I can’t think of a nicer looking boat, but that’s me. Do remember that the latest T34’s will be about 17-18 years old and that, unfortunately, means that you will be...

    Headlining

Thanks for the replies. the headlining is made by Nautolex and is available through a few suppliers on line. ive just dropped it off at Thames Covers in Shepperton on the Thames (near where I live) who seemed to know what they’re talking about, though ill know in about three weeks….

    Headlining

Morning all. After three attempts at trying to replace the headlining on my Targa 34 and it looking ok, I‘ve realised that sometimes it’s best to leave things to the professionals…any recommendations in the Solent area? I just need one panel covered and I’ve removed it from the boat. Many thanks!

Electronic derating in a Cat engine: WTF?

MapisM Do you have remote oil filters? I have C12's and haven't had the same issue, but in chatting with the engineer when he was servicing my boat one time, I remember him mentioning that if remote oil filters are fitted, the threshold level for the oil pressure sensors needs to be set to a...

TAMD 74p engine revs (or lack of) problem

I had a similar problem with my 74P's a few years ago. Sounds like it may be the boost pressure sensor - there's a pipe that leads to it that fills with condensation - it could be that. Not sure I understand why when you open both throttles they're ok though - are you sure that is the case...

    Fairline moving forward

Henry Thought provoking thread - good stuff. I also am a Princess owner (P50 - same as yours) and prior to that, I owned a 45 Flybridge and must say we've been very happy with them both. Aside from the boats themselves, the service and support from their main distributor (Princess Motor Yacht...

What's the big deal with fenders?

Sure, we do have fenders down on that side but that's not really the point - the onus is surely on both boats to ensure adequate fendering, I would have thought - I can't reasonably be expected to have enough fenders to ensure that if I'm hit, that a fender takes the whack ( unless I place one...

What's the big deal with fenders?

This weekend, for various reasons we were unable to go out so pottered and fettled the boat. The berth next to us is vacant and used to accommodate visitors. Saturday afternoon, fairly breezy with wind blowing any visitor mooring up on aforementioned berth onto us. Into the fairway comes...
