sparesmarine didn't show up on goggle or ebay so thanks again
I think I've seen this posted before but I thought I'd try. The handle on my toilet seacock is broken ( I think as it was installed in 1978 that's not bad.) I can use a spanner but does anyone know of who sells old spares?
We are having to sell the boat due to increasing age and decreasing mobility. SWMBO thinks we should tart up the grab rails which haven't had any attention for years and are now just weathered grey teak. Any suggestions for ease and simplicity?
Any suggestions? I will first use patio magic to remove the green algae then clean thoroughly - any suggestions for the best cleaning agent? I know I can get stuff that paints on to restore car soft tops in dark red but helpful suggestions would be welcome
don't need to do it every year but got the tin our of the garage and the top wouldn't come off - stuck fast. eventually had to drive a screwdriver between the lid and the tin and prise it off that way and then bang back on for transport. needless to say the top came off in the car but luckily...
Have to disagree about the Green Man too. Again maybe we have just been lucky but we've always had great food and a good time.
On the subject of dogs, no excuse for the guide dog incident but once at the Green Man we sat next to the door and an incoming dog jumped up at me as we were eating...
Maybe we've just been lucky but the Bradwell Marina Bar has always been great as far as we are concerned. Rush hour at weekend lunchtimes does seem to mean a long wait to get served though. The Green Man is always excellent and the Kings Head is good but doesn't do much in the way of bar...
Yes proximity to the mic makes a difference. A friend's wife tried to make a test transmission and held the mic several inches away. quiet transmission was cured by telling her to get up close
I eventually had to bite the bullet and buy them new from http://www.haroldhayles.co.uk/
sorry can't help - they are a bit pricey but readily available
