the user will only tow it about 5 miles from loch lomond to the clyde as he would also like to explore the coast hence the need to be able to trailer. the rst of the time it will stay in the water

Hi
some interesting boats here and I spend half my life on this types of boat so
skipblast . simply stunning build quality and handling
Merryfisher range: bling, but sorry have been in far better boats
Finnmaster boats are well worth a look but like all Scandinavian boats they hold their values...
a few small points
petrol in anything but small amounts is not always sold so it pain to fill up the boat. This is far worse where we are ie west coast scotland. space in another factor so outboard wins there, servicing all is a big win for the outboard. the honda is dull but bullet proof...
Most brokers offer a fixed fee service and will sort all the paper work out, get the price etc. I would also add that use someone who knows they type of boats well ie I dont source sailing boats but do do rib fast fishers and cruisers as I know them well and use them but dont know enough sailing...

RR, US Military, and other around the world are using this FACT. Also please remember we are not the OEM. we are simply trying to find out if this is for the private user as well as commercial. This is 100% not about our confidence , its about private owners confidence. We have seen...
Hi
Sorry I should have made it clear.
1: we are not the OEM and simply looking to see if it is worth selling
2: We are also in Scotland so if any of the OEM's and not just the one who has sold 21,000 units wants to do this we would be delighted if it would be up here.
3: I think the fact that...
Big thanks Richard
This is starting to confirm our thoughts ie great system if its done right. there seem to be a huge difference in how many many, strength of pulse etc and fitting guides seem limited. This could though be due to OEM's wanting to keep the price down instead of saying that you...
As the OP we never claimed that these were a complete solution. We are simply asking would people buy them as the figures show that commercial boats are clearly starting to adopt this technology but we would like to know would a private seller!
I also looked at the age of that post and think...
This would be my list
Cheverton 24 great sea handling. not easy to get hold of. Classic hull, heavy . great side on in big swells
Arvor: Ok its not a jumped up warrior but yeeks they are good. A bit heavier lay up on the GRP and they would would be perfect
Hardy 22/ 24 and would depend on the...
Hi
Thanks for your thoughts. We are actually thinking of being a distribution agent for a company that has sold over 21,000 units but this has been 70+ % to the commercial sector hence why we would like to know what private boat owners think.
Thanks for your comments so far and please keep...
Hi
This all comes down to what your purchasing criteria is and rate out of 10 please
Looks
Sea handling
Resale value
running costs
ie if the wife is going the merry fisher is well worth a look, if its less about looks the arvor is the better sea handling boat but they hold the value better so...
Hi
Having worked for an outboard repair company here are my thoughts
Honda: v quiet and best for cruising
Suzuki: Best 4 stroke 4 acceleration,
Yam: a mix of Honda and Suzuki
These 3 makes came in the least for problems and are also used a lot by sea farms / sea saftey boats up here and came...
Hi
As broker here are a few quick comments
1: the Sr4 is the best handling 4 m rib there is for remotely sensible money ie sub 5k for a good one
2: the Avon 5.4 would be my next choice if its about handling at sub 6m
3: 6m takes you into redbay territory and now think 15-20k so lots more...
