The panel efficiency drops as the temp increases, this is one of the reasons a solar farm has not been built in the Sahara desert

Can you fit on side guard rails and pivot up when needed, that looks a popular option. We have peaked today at 8.5 amps from 250 w panels

Those fuse holders are awful, very easy to get the fuse blade in the side of the fitting rather than fully in. Look up Bluesea fuse...
