    Dock Fender Options

Spotted these in our marina recently and going to get some. No connection with them at all - just thought they look like a pretty good solution. Had a good look at them and they seemed really well made. Fenders | Marina Fender Pad | England

    Strange stern thruster issue

Good question - not measured voltage when solenoids click…yet! ? Batteries are 3 years old - loads of power when using lower helm - so, in my naivety, assume they should be ok! Would it be possible that they work differently from each position? Also, is the continuous buzzing an alarm do you know?

    Strange stern thruster issue

Have a strange stern thruster issue. Have Max Power bow and stern thrusters. Both work fine from lower helm however, when the stern thruster is switched on at the joystick, the buzzer keeps running very quietly. On the Flybridge, the bow thruster is ok but the stern thruster doesn’t work. Have...

Med boaters - will you get to your boat this year?

They called me every day including day 10 (which was 11 days after we arrived as we flew in so early!!!). Called my wife but she missed about 2/3 calls early on and then they seemed to give up on her. No visits …but would have been amazed if they visited us in deepest Devon.?

Med boaters - will you get to your boat this year?

We used Imed a couple of weeks ago - in and out in 4 minutes, results on phone within 30 minutes. We were in Torrevieja - not one in Altea but not far if you have a car - About us | Polyclinic IMED Torrevieja Vega Baja | Group IMED Hospitals: Hospital IMED Elche, Hospital IMED Levante

    Flexible window material recommendations

For what it’s worth...if using a domestic machine buy a Teflon foot - won’t stick to the plastic! Replaced my windows (in the Med) about 3 years ago! Still looked fine but had complete set of new covers fitted last month. They’ll be old by the time we see them!?

    Raymarine AR220 camera

Had one fitted this time last year as we were upgrading all of our kit and it made sense given the additional cost compared to the overall cost of the upgrade. Not had time to use it much as boat is in Spain! ? Excellent piece of kit though - good image and the AR application is very good - not...

    Opacmare passerelle electrical issue

Wonder if anyone can help on this... Passerelle rotate function has just stopped working. Up, down, in out...all fine. Have checked the control box and with the functions that work the input light works and the output light for the relevant function along with the engine light ...all good. But...

Another "Moved" to Sunnier Climes thread

Maybe we should rename this "Will the last person to leave please turn of the lights"!!! On Sunday we start driving down to our new (to us) T50 in Spain!! S42 gone in p/x and we have given up - for the time being - on trying to grab weather windows in the SW. To say we are excited would be an...

    Eateries on the IoW

Personally love 'On The Rocks' in Yarmouth. Fantastic steaks (and salads) which you cook on a hot rock to your liking at your table. Always had a good meal there.

    Raw water pump - electric

Was talking to someone the other day who is not on the forum so said I'd post on their behalf... He has a Sunbird (?) with twin V8 petrols and needs to replace his raw water pumps. Has seen electric versions at a fraction of the price and wondered if anyone knew anything about them or could...
