This thread title reminds me of a club I used to belong to. Amongst the senior members we had a police inspector and an undertaker.

Thank you for those who are keeping the faith that we may return to some normality..
I am thinking March sort of time in the hope the worst of lockdown will be over and that people will have begun getting the vaccine. I just hope there are some hot ls and restaurants still trading by then.
No word or reply from Sailorman so far... I have sent him a text.. Someone who is in contact please do the honours...

I think, realistically, that March is extremely optimistic

I'm going to err on the side of optimism, who knows what will happen in the next few months. If it gets pushed back from March to to April then so be it.
Alternatively in March we might be able to anchor close to each other and chat over the VHF

I will contact Foxes on the 18th.. that being the date in a letter from that nice Mr Hancock when he initially said T4 lockdown would end... (I will believe him when he buys me a pint).

Isn't there a risk of 'transmission' over the VHF? It might be safer to stick to semaphore.
