We are:
- 1 adult and 3 kids (13,11,3) on board a 35ft raggie.
- probably on a one-way passage from Dartmouth - Plymouth at a leisurely pace (depending on weather etc)
we are looking for:
- a competent crew who can help me to sail back safely whilst managing the kids (all of them used to sailing, the older boys also of great help helming and handling the lines)
- must be happy to sail in a family setting
- a laid-back but safety-conscious attitude is essential
- must be flexible about plans in cosideration of weather/crew
we offer:
- a berth on a well-equipped boat
- reasonable amounts of food aboard
- no financial contributions expected
- a seat in the car on a return trip anywhere between Plymouth and Reading on Sunday 4 June in the afternoon (as long as it does not mean making too many miles off the M5/M4)
we are NOT looking for:
- a baby sitter
- a hard-core, high-mileage sailor (I do this without kids!)
- a risk taker
