Where have all the characters gone? This forum used to get a bit controversial at times. How things change. It is all very sensible these days. Come on everybody.

Re: Oi, Hanoi!

Well, why don't you be a character? There is no room for any more curmugeonly oldtime cleverdick lunar navigators BUT a vacancy for OTT spendthrift novice. Perhaps you could fit in there?

meantime welcome, and well done for not lurking (at last). Or alternatively, naughty naughty for changing your name and pretending to be a newbie...

Re: Oi, Hanoi!

Hmm
thats a nice welcome.
How come you are so suspicious of this - could it be that you have inside information?
Hope to goodness its not the 101 back!!

Come on brain.get this over and i can go back to killing you with beer

By characters do you mean...

...self important, over inflated ego's obsessed with flashing off large amounts of money.

Or am I being a bit of a character by being outspoken?

I thought that after being a bit quiet for a while, things are getting more interesting and at times funny.

I knew a Les Hanois once, lived in .....

..the Channel Isles.

Any relation?

Afterthought/PS

The grammatical construction of your posting, when run through my linguistical assessment program brings out a familiar profile. Very close to that of Monty the Mounty. Co-incidence?

Plus est en vous Steve

but which Monty the Mounty are you referring to then ? the one you impersonated , or the one that was doing "dastardly deeds" in impersonating the impersonator or the one that impersonated the impersonator's impersonator ???

applying some Nigelesque logic , we might make following deduction :
-you played Monty , that much is known
-so youknow Monty's lingo
-you say that the grammatical construction of Les Hanois is similar ot Monty
ergo , quod erat demonstrandum , hic et nunc...you might be Les Hanois /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

and how come you so calm and gentle too ? upped the prozac rate ??? /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif

Re: I knew a Les Hanois once, lived in .....
