EDIT I found out what this is. Is just a magnet that gets inserted into this slot, I tried using a random magnet and could get the station to work, bow/stern thruster, engines, the lot.

So now I need to find either a premade magnetic key (like a boat kill-switch cable) or just get a magnet that fits into the slot and wrap it in same gaffer tape (so it can be remove quickly).

ORIGINAL: We have on board a ZF Remote Control like the one in the pic - however: the "key" (the string with the key attached and some "on" switch) is missing, no idea where the previous owner put it.

Do anyone knows where I can buy it (beside ebay or the like ?)

Yes it is mathers/zf. It's a current product so must be available as a spare. It's function is a kill cord so that if you drop the remote it kills the engines or at least puts them into neutral.

So the part finally arrived ... a piece of string with a tiny magnet attached ... I think I broke the record price/perceived value, 140 UKP (without shipment) but wife was adamant we need the original part and my home made magnet + string solution (2 UKP) was "unsafe" so here we go :-)
