Yusa Battery

Any body with experience of Yusa Batteries + or -.

Need a new lighting bank and have been given a competitive quote compared to the Bosch or Varta we normally buy. Know of them a a good bike battery, and for alarms etc but not for 220 Amp/ hr.

Yuasa is a good manufacturer. There are actually relatively few battery manufacturers, so a lot of branded batteries are actually made by other people and rebadged. I think a number of Bosch and Varta bike batteries are made by Yuasa. Don't know whether this applies to larger batteries.

Used them a lot in UPS / disaster recovery for data centres and banks. Excellent technical support and service.

Yuasa manufacture for a number of other brands - probably one of the "best" around for UPS and specialist batteries, probably not as active in marine and auto batteries except as re-badged Bosch and Varta.
You've probably been using them in any case.

Haven't used Yusa, but did do some research recently and ended up with Banner Energy Bulls they have had good press and are a £1 per amp delivered.

I've used Yuasa batteries in my motorcycles for decades. Absolutely fine.

Interestingly my new to me potential supplier in Worcester can beat all the web people I have tried so far, including tanya and battery mega store. will post more when deal is struck.
