Youtube Sailing Channels

2 I watch that havent been listed (apologies if I've missed 'em above)

Sailing Creo - couple buying a boat in greece and sailing it around a bit (Love it cos thats an ambition)

Almost Sailing - Bloke buys a boat in the Bristol channel, sails it home single handed with a few mishaps, then parks and mends it (in Essex I think).

From previously listed, cant beat a bit of early KTL and On Kudu as they were inspirational and easy for me to relate to

During these long winter’s nights I’m looking for some other sailing channels on youtube and wondered what the fine forum folks recommend.
Delos is one of the better know channels that I like; they have a very different feel to the likes of the, to me, less watchable La Vag or SSL or any of the other front page boobs and drama click-bait.

I have just started watching Sailing Kawai and been watching Delos and Ran sailing for a while.

Keep Turning Left
I've taken to watching Dylan with the sound off.

Adventures of an old seadog
Good, but turning into a travel blog.

Wandering steve
He has gone very quiet, I am worried about him - last spotted heading west to the New World.

Patrick Laine
A real gentleman I hope to meet him one day.

Free Range Sailing
My current favorite.

I have been watching Sailing Nervous since they started, two years on and 139 videos later they have just managed to raise the mainsail on their Moody 346. Strangely addictive as nothing ever happens.

I own a moody 346 but stopped watching their channel because they do nothing except talk about what they will, or may not do next week. A total bore in every respect. A massive lesson in how NOT to use video.

Sailing UMA is one channel I do watch. The couple are fantastic energetic (and how) and balance sailing with knowledgable maintenance.

I started watching Uma but tbh I'm much more interested in seeing people actually sailing and exploring new places, than people fixing their boat. Do they ever actually cast off and go somewhere?

Current favourite is SY Kittiwake (as well as Delos, obviously).

I am not a great fan of the weekly grind of sailing soaps in general; the "bikini up the back of the bum", "ey up, trouble in paradise" genre is starting to look worked out.

I would rather have the professional individuals who knock out a video now and again:

Those that tell a really interesting sailing story:

Or the natural film makers who casually get to the root of the matter:

I am not their champion but must reply your experience viewing sailing uma. They have just completed a two year circumnavigation of the Caribbean sea islands and mainland. Including an excellent video of weathering a full blown hurricane at anchor in Haiti. They are back in florida and back to maintenance. Their current project is to install all round stainless steel tubing instead of the usual stanchion (?) and guard wires then cross the North Atlantic to UK. Yes they do get out sailing.

I did find an email address for him on his Youtube page, and sent him a message. that was a month or so ago, but nothing heard. Great pity, and I do hope he's OK. Wandering Steve that is!
