During these long winter’s nights I’m looking for some other sailing channels on youtube and wondered what the fine forum folks recommend.
Delos is one of the better know channels that I like; they have a very different feel to the likes of the, to me, less watchable La Vag or SSL or any of the other front page boobs and drama click-bait.

For anyone else looking, here’s a less watched channel with a very affable couple.

These are my favourite channels:
Sail Life - Danish guy doing a very good job in refitting a Trident Warrier
Sailing Ran - Swedish couple circumnavigating
Erik Aanderaa - Crazy Norweigen who seems to love sailing in bad weather
Drake Paragon also well worth a watch in my opinion.

Sailing la vagabonde was the first channel I came across on youtube, but I can't bear to watch it anymore!

Agree with all the ones mentioned +

White Spot Pirates - but you really need to watch from the beginning - pretty amazing and resourceful young German woman.
Follow the Boat - Long term live aboards - great couple and produce high quality films.

Boat Building

Salt and Tar
Acorn to Arabella
And of course young Leo at ‘The Sampson Boat Co’.
Life in a Nutshell (started off on a narrowboat then bought a yacht sight unseen in Panama) - great couple of people

White Spot Pirates
Sail Life
Sampson Boat Building Co
Acorn to Arabella
SLV (getting less so)
KTL (only since Scotland series, and only as long as I can stand the bikini moans)

I've been following an Australian family since they started sailing. Dad is completely laid back and can turn his hand to just about anything. Mum finds almost everything amusing especially Dad. The two children are great. The youngest is a girl and she is following in Dad's footsteps. Every time there is anything that needs doing whether it's removing a starter motor, mixing epoxy or stitching up a cut, she is there lending a hand. They started out on the east coast of Australia and are currently in Indonesia. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXEjpiYKr-hCbtqwC8RXwtg

I also used to follow Sailing Zatara which is an American family sailing round the world. After Dad posted a rant about his right to own an arsenal of guns including a 50 calibre rifle I decided it wasn't for me.

I have been watching Sailing Nervous since they started, two years on and 139 videos later they have just managed to raise the mainsail on their Moody 346. Strangely addictive as nothing ever happens.

I forgot to mention Sailing Kittiwake, very chilled out and they have really good music. The Scilly film is an interesting one and I'm looking forward in following them on their journey.

Another laid back and interesting channel is Sailorama. The chap was pretty much born on a boat and grew up cruising, now cruising himself. I can't put my finger on it but there's something about the videos that I really enjoy.

And of course there's Onkudu, I always pop back and watch a few now and then, it would have been so good to see him get all the way round. I do wonder what he's upto these days, if he's still sailing, he had a good take me or leave me vibe about him.
