So, I have greatly enjoyed Dylan's KTL, Steve's Wanderings and Patrick Laine's trips inc the one Patrick is currently on... as I like these so much, who else should I be following? Any suggestions gratefully received.

If you've just read the above and these are new names to you then do take a look - 3 quite different styles but each are great (imh- and unbiased/unconnected -o of course). P

Adventures of an old seadog
The sailing Frenchman
White spot pirate
Lee shores and lunches
Erik Aanderaa
Sailing SV Bora Bora

I'm spending too much time watching other people sail.

cheers chaps - that's a good few new ones for me to work through... am starting at the top with Adventures of an old seadog... first 60seconds makes it look promising.

I've watched bits of all of them, but only ever got hooked and watched the entire series of two of them...

This, nathan going round britain on his corribee, is film making at it's best, not glitzy or technical, but full of character and interest.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgOYR-5upgU
and this one, by a couple of young photographers, https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUK8GR4xS78s_2_ddbnt0QmrPwhSQeNu-

I second the yacht teleport videos. Really impressive and inspiring series.

Not sure, but here's my personal opinion to all who do 'sailing channels' videos...

1 - Make it interesting. Your viewers are here for the sailing so you sat talking to the camera will put them off. Show some sailing.
2 - If in doubt, show more sailing. Rivers, the sea, struggling, landfalls. The lot.
3 - Adventures of an old seadog gets my vote, as did Dylan's KTL. A bit cheeky, a struggle against adversity, ducks and adventure.
4 - Don't bore the camera by talking to it for minutes on end. Your viewers will look at something less boring instead.
5 - Your own content. Make sure you show it, as some show others' videos and talk through them.

So, let the quality shine through chaps (and chapesses). Show us your sailing videos!

I watch most of them plus the masters Delos, plus La Vagabonde, plus the old master Rick Moore
Interesting to see the lonelyness/dare I say black dog coming through in Nike and OSD,
