Your thoughts (again) please

Using the left hand arrow seems to distort things terribly but that is a stunning looking boat.

PS: On closer inspection it seems you can frig about & change things. It loaded in about 1 1/2 secs & was superb.
I would change those curtains to add a bit of colour:rolleyes:
& a bird lounging about semi naked would be an improvement. When can I move in?

PPS:Going back to that Elan thing really looks like the pits.Sorry not even if it is a council house exchange:(
PPPS:I think the softwares not quite right. When you sit back & just go round & round in circles the roof goes all slanty
(I need a smiley with the eyes going round & round in circles in a dazed confused manner):)

Good One!

Hi Snooks,

My connection speed reports 6.5mb.
The initial load took 2.5 sec.
And WOW!...I now want one of these:D
Excellent detail with simple operation.

Excellent. It loaded very fast and has good resolution. I can't quite read the titles on the books, but I expect they’re Swedish anyway.

The really frustrating thing about these 360 deg views is that they make you want to stick your head around the corner into the heads or aft cabin. The Google Earth type fly through has to be the next advance. You need to start saving for the equipment and I need to start saving for my HR 372.

The whole set is very good, no down load issues on home BB (7megawhatnots), definitely the way forward for boat viewing.

15 secs to down load on Voda 3g.(with "poor" signal). Still can't get the forum on it though:mad:.

Is it very time consuming to set up,take and process the images?

It takes about 5 mins for a set of 4 shots for each interior. That's to set up the tripod, get it level, set up the camera (as it uses a completely different set of settings than normal shooting) focus, get an exposure, and then shoot 3 images at 0º, 90º, 180º and 270º

Then it's all computer work to get it sorted....which is explained here

So in total you're probably talking a total of around 20 mins a shot, depending on the amount of retouching of the composite image

Fascinating stuff, sorry I wasn't paying attention to your earlier posts.:)

Great facility, only niggle from my point of view is that as some used to dragging images with the mouse, the rotation seems to be the wrong way round. I just have to get used to dragging the view point rather than the picture.

Great stuff! Good viewpoints, good quality, fast loading, smooth pan & zoom. Apart from the boat itself, the only other thing I would like to see is a view of the cockpit, possibly from the helm position.

Exteriors of boats are a bit of a problem, as the boat is moving, even on a pontoon, and it's enough to cause the stitching software a problem.

Also because of the viewpoint you don't get to see much of the layout of the cockpit, but you do get to see around the harbour the test was in though!
