Your most memorable or evocative "boaty" song or music

David Gilmour's "Castellorizon" from his "On an island" album. For me that piece is Gilmour saying "I've found contentment and happiness" in the language which he knows best - music. It gives a soundtrack to peaceful moments on board one's boat very well indeed.
 
Ok. Can't find it anywhere, but an old favorite of mine was "The Dark Island" by a scottish folk group in the 60's called "the Islanders".

I have to dig into my archives for the words and music. I've not looked in my chapbooks for years.

I used to sail with a chap who took great delight in playing this piece at full volume on a battered old cassette player as we sailed in through the western entrance of Cherbourg harbour! :eek: We used to hide down below and let him helm in on his own. :D
