31st of December is a good time to take stock, and for myself i note that i have already stopped smoking for minus one day. Anyone else with perhaps even more remarkable achievements this year?
i lost half a stone between the beginning of November and mid-December, which is... oooo..... 2.5% of my body mass. Trouble is I put it all back on again in the past two weeks. The only blessing is that I would now be half a stone heavier if I hadnt lost it in the first place !!
On the water, we took part in the RTI race and failed to finish, along with more than half the fleet so I am pleased to be in the majority.
OH and made it to Cherbourg and back with a bunch of drunks.

As a matter of interest, I lost 10kg during the trip from Glasson to Lagos, (105kg to 95kg),.... I didnt notice it, but Janet did. Up to about 97kg since.
Completed refurbishment of my flats, and filled them.
Bought a boat, sold a boat, moved boat, broke boat, paid to have boat fixed, moved boat though still broken, got boat back, paid to have boat fixed again.
Bought our first boat (17ft Fletcher).
Introduced girlfriend (Anne) to boating.
Sold Audi TT in order to buy MG ZT to tow afore mentioned boat.
Borrowed money to do up the bathroom.
Used afore mentioned money to buy a bigger boat (S23) which the MG can't tow (bugger!!!!)
Had lots of fun on both boats and looking forward to much more (and hopefully selling Fletcher!)
Successfully managed to look after Anne through major surgery and medical problems which WILL solve all our medical problems
