I too did the Yachmaster theory whilst studying for my A levels despite the elders of the club telling me to concentrate on my school work.
I am totally sure I would not be able to do it now (20years later), I think your brain is in a more absorbent stage when you are young.

I certinaly hope that the younger genration will have more qualifications. 30 yrs ago 2% of the population went to university, but tnow the target is 50%. I'm not sure why a university is needed to teacvh a powerb0at course, but what the heck.

You should be in a drunken haze for the entire time. If you have managed to enroll you should not have been in a state to take any info on board. you should only have bumped into these other people at the bar, in which case they are all lying in an attemt to psyche you out.

On the other hand if michael owen is your hero. i met him in a bar after the mighty reds did the treble. lovely chap. stone cold sober tho.
everyone else could not stand.
