You need one of these in your life

Denis, check please as I think that most of these canisters HAVE TO work upright so you get the gas on top and not the compressed liquid lower down (or when full on its side) Certain for the 3-5-10lt butane/propane cylinders we get down here and have on the boat (3lt)

OTOH, the plumbers yellow 1lt (?) canisters with the flamethrougher bit on the front (sorry don't know the official name for it) work on whatever orientation (admittedly not v.happy upside down but work)

Hi Vas. Not true. We have one of those camping stoves with two burners. Gas canister similar to the one shown here actually lies on its side in a compartment next to the two burners. Campingaz Camp Bistro 2 Stove | Millets
To be honest I would rather buy one of the camping gas stoves for £15 rather than the small stove the OP was showing for £20. Only slightly bigger but still easy to carry around and and store and a lot more sturdy.

I think both have their uses. This one is so compact it takes no space or weight.

Odd thing is these gas canisters do indeed work on laying flat in the burner you describe but the little stove in the original post seems to flame a lot of you lay it flat
