We had our first 4 day break of the year this weekend. Wanted to relax a little so planned on nothing too far or strenuous.

Got to the boat Saturday evening and as normal watch Steve Dunstable eat all our chocolate whilst I drank all his wine........ Appears fair to me!!

Sunday woke to beautiful weather and had a leisurely morning before heading over to Island Harbour. Always a place where I feel as though I've dropped out from the world for a short while. Took a stroll to the Folly for a pint, walked back and had a very nice meal in the Breeze. Then as the kids settled off to sleep watched the sunset...... Perfect day.

Monday we decided to stay at Island Harbour and took a stroll to Osborne House...... What a gem, can see why Queen Vic loved it so much.

Another lovely meal at the Breeze in the evening and another sunset :)

Tuesday again the weather was superb so we headed round to Osborne Bay. After a spot of lunch it was time to get the swimmers on....... Boys couldn't have had more fun if we'd tried.

After a couple of hours swimming (I've saved you from pictures of my pasty body) it was time to head back to Mercury. What a superb few days, ready to do it all again this weekend....... Just not round Cowes :)

Nice report Paul t, lovely to hear good times.

Been installed in Yarmouth since leaving bembridge on Sunday, had day trips to keyhaven & alum bay, staying for another 10 days! Even helped change exhausts on 300hp Perkins sabres and done my wrist in as proof! Don't get my hands dirty on my engine, on friends lochin spent 3 hours in the bildges.. Came out pretty grubby.. It's what holidays are all about!

So may see you tomorrow V Paul..?
