The fine megayot Eclipse is anchored out here in the carib, in Simpson's Bay in st martin... and it's been in exactly the same spot for several weeks. A mile out of the bay, they tootle in on the tender as required. So instead of expensively staying on a dock, they just hang out at anchor, not docking and not going anywhere at all. Of course, I thoroughly approve of such savings to an extent, although I wonder if there is an ulterior motive in staying so far off shore, out of range of any anti-ruskie types? Either that, or it's simply saving a few (thousand) quid in dock fees? After all, where there's rouble there's mouck...
