some great articles this month
but does hopping aboard a gulet and making some unwanted crtiticism of sail sets really count as a charter??? or are you just a guest?
if i am wrong can we expect an article on QM2 soon

...'the captain looked blankly at me at dinner as i took the opportunity to show him my revised passage plan and new stern to mooring procedure...'

You may be right , or perhaps not. Potential gulet charterers really should be warned as to what they may expect. 12 of us, all experenced offshore sailors, recently chartered a "sailing" gulet in Turkey, only to find it equipped with just one tiny headsail & nothing else in the wardrobe. Disappointing in the extreme, but apparently very much the norm - gulets with a full rig were seen, but rarely.
