YM Teak Deck Cleaner Test

You live and learn - the price from www.propertyrepairsystems.co.uk / http://www.boron.org.uk/order.htm#Boracols is approx £70 for 5 litres of Boracol 10RH - it looks like ACS are half the price

Excellent information - thanks

Kevin

I've been using Boracol for years on my teak and sprayhood, with excellent results. I recently bought some more, and was told that Boracol 10RH is no longer supposed to be available for amateur use, although 5RH is still OK for amateur use. I find the cheapest way to buy it is direct from ACS, who make it. 5 litres of Boracol 5RH was £31, plus VAT and carriage, rather less than some other suppliers. They take orders over the phone on 01935 414012.

Agree - as you mention it's also great for keeping the "green" of the sprayhood seams - just paint on with a small brush. 10 RH is for professionals, but all of us who do our own boats up are "professionals" and know more about paints / chemicals than most of the people using 10 Rh in the building trade - my supplier took the point and agreed!
