OK, I've had enough! I've been as patient as I can be. But now I am very p****d off!!

Nearly Sept and I STILL have not yet got my June issue of Yachting Monthly!!!!!

There have been several promises that it has been sent, they have double checked my address, all the other months have arrived OK.

Last email they said (ipc subscriptions) to contact to confirm safe arrival. So on friday I contacted them to tell them I had NOT got it.

Got an email back this morning, 'cannot send it out as they no longer have any copies', Your bloody joking!!!!! I've been waiting since the middle of May!!!

Well they can stick my renewal were the sun does'nt shine, anybody know if Sailing Today is any good?

Sadly not, IMHO, although Killkerr1 likes it. Must admit I think I was better off buying YM from a newsagents and always got it earlier than on subscription.

I thought I might be able to help you out as my expiring YM subcription was renewed twice and I received 2 copies of YM, unfortunately it was for July and August. Glad to say that I received a refund of the duplicate subcription immediately, when I pointed out the mistake.

I apologise for the Subs department letting you down. It is a huge set up covering almost 100 titles and every so often the gremlins gain the upperhand.

The June edition was the first of the new style glossy covers and so is a real collector's item!

Send me a PM with your address and I'll put one of the few office copies we have in the post to you today.

Well IMHO I beg to differ, I've read ST for several years and it just gets better and better. has a nice relaxed style and doesn't take itself too seriously. Never had a problem with the subs dept either.

I keep thinking of taking out a subscription, but years ago I subscribed to Golf Monthly and had similar problems of not knowing whether to buy an issue at the shop or whether it would be delivered. In the end you miss one or even two - although the complimentary ball offer kind of made up for it.
