YM looking for Blackwater yachtsmen

Well the photoshoot took place on Monday 28th, and although the forecast was awful, it turned out very well, with gentle wind and even a bit of sunshine.

We had Tom, Dick Durham and Graham Snooks over in Tollesbury for the day.

Dick valiantly crossed the mud channel with a set of "Splatchers", everyone holding their breath, will he fall over??????

We left the berth, chugged down to the south channel, and back with Graham snapping away from the berth.

On to a new berth, and wait for the tide to leave us. Fortunately Apogee settled almost straight, and everyone was very pleased. (especially me!)

I was reasonably happy that she would settle correctly on the Tuesday 01:00 tide, and so it proved when I got down on Tuesday morning.

The boat was moved back to her proper berth, and due to a tidal surge we were marooned on the berth for nearly an hour as all the walkways were about 2 feet deep!

I really enjoyed the day, Tom an Dick were both very pleasant and we had a good laugh in the TSL office while the tide receded.

Regards

Ian
