I agree with you weatherman. All the world except the usa which dont count use metric isnt it about time we forgot ft and ins and set a standard then there wouldnt be confusion

Nautical miles are rather sensibly defined, IMO.

Trivia: An arcminute on Mars is pretty close to a kilometre, thus proving that the French are from a different planet ;-)

So did I. I was completly flummuxed because the course was entirely in imperial! A very big learning curve!
